APC Policy

Russkaya starina is committed to supporting accessible and inclusive scholarly communication. The journal follows a No Article Processing Charge (No APC) policy for authors.

Authors are not required to pay an Article Processing Charge for the submission, peer review, editorial evaluation, or publication of an accepted manuscript. There is no mandatory publication fee imposed on authors as a condition of acceptance or publication.

The journal aims to ensure that financial considerations do not create unnecessary barriers for researchers seeking to disseminate their scholarly work. Manuscripts are evaluated solely on the basis of their academic quality, originality, relevance, research integrity, and compliance with the journal's editorial and peer-review standards.

The absence of an APC does not affect the editorial or peer-review process. All manuscripts remain subject to the journal's standard editorial assessment and peer-review procedures, and publication decisions are made independently of an author's financial circumstances.

Authors should follow the journal's submission and manuscript-preparation requirements and provide complete and accurate information during the submission process. Any future changes to the journal's publication-fee policy, if applicable, will be communicated transparently through the official journal website.
